It has approximately 100 staff in 18 locations around the world. In New Zealand, it has a head office in Wellington and staff in Auckland and Christchurch.

The New Zealand-based Partnerships and Marketing team leads and implements strategic initiatives for the sustainable growth of New Zealand’s international education industry and develops the value proposition for New Zealand education globally.
The team’s partnerships function works with the international education industry to build a deep understanding of sector growth opportunities and supports industry players to establish and grow relationships with education institutions globally. The team’s marketing function leads and drives the student acquisition engine as well as the student experience effort in New Zealand.
From Wellington, the team also delivers ENZ’s inbound and outbound scholarships programme.
The International team is the face of ENZ around the world. It develops and maintains key relationships with governments, organisations and international stakeholders, and leads ENZ’s engagement globally for enhanced education cooperation.
As in-market experts, the team drives the flow of market intelligence and targeted advice to ENZ’s Strategy, Insights and Planning and Partnerships and Marketing teams. They support New Zealand institutions overseas, and work at offshore fairs and events to attract students to New Zealand.
The Stakeholders and Communications team informs, connects with, and influences ENZ’s audiences and stakeholders.
The team delivers advice and support to ministers and government agencies on international education, drives inter-agency work on the International Education Strategy 2018-2030, influences key policy settings for the benefit of the international education sector, manages ENZ’s social licence work ensuring all New Zealanders understand the broader contribution of international education to New Zealand and ensures that ENZ meets its accountability obligations.
The Strategy, Insight and Planning team identifies, leads and drives strategic thinking, implementation and business intelligence through a variety of priority projects for New Zealand's international education sector.
The team manages ENZ’s Insights function, delivering intelligence that adds value to the development of the international education sector.
It is also responsible for leading major new initiatives, bringing together talent from across the organisation to ensure future-focussed project delivery, making maximum use of organisation-wide knowledge.
The People and Culture team focuses on making ENZ a great place to work. From recruitment and induction to safety and wellbeing, it ensures staff have the skills and information needed to do their jobs effectively.
The team works with managers to give staff opportunities for professional development and leads work on ENZ’s ‘one team’ culture.
The corporate services team maintains effective financial controls and processes such as budgeting, and financial and strategic planning.
It processes ENZ’s financial transactions, ensures its procurement processes are sound, and ensures its IT systems and processes support our global organisation.
